வக்ரதுண்ட மஹாகாய
ஸூர்ய கோடி ஸமப் ப்ரப |
நிர்விக்நம் குருமே தேவ
ஸர்வ கார்யேஷு ஸர்வதா ||

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय 
सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव 
सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥

Meaning :
  • Salutations to Sri Ganesha, Who has a Curved Trunk, Who has a Large Body and whose Splendour is similar to Million Suns;
  • Please Make my Undertakings Free of Obstacles, by extending Your Blessings in All my Works, Always.

தனம் தரும் கல்வி தரும் ஒரு நாளும் 
தளர்வறியா மனம் தரும் 
தெய்வ வடிவும் தரும்
நெஞ்சில் வஞ்சமில்லா இனம் தரும் 
நல்லன எல்லாம் தரும் 
அன்பர் என்பவர்க்கே 
கனம் தரும் பூங்குழலாள் 
அபிராமி கடைக்கண்களே ...

Meaning :
  • This slokam is from Abirami andhAdhi written by  Sri. Abirami Battar
  • The slokam extols the benefits of worshipping the lotus feet of Goddess Abirami. 
  • Devotees of Abirami who exhibits thick locks of hair resembling dark clouds, shall get the following by the mere grace of the corners of her eyes: Riches, education, tireless mind, divine form, relatives without malevolence and everything good.

नमस्तेऽस्तु महामाये
श्रीपीठे सुरपूजिते ।
शङ्खचक्रगदाहस्ते
महालक्ष्मि नमोऽस्तुते ॥

Meaning :
  • I Worshipfully Salute Devi Mahalakshmi, Who is the Mahamaya (the Primordial Cause of Creation);  and she is Worshipped in SriPita (Her Abode) by the Suras, adorning in her Beautiful Form with Shankha, Chakra and Gada  in Her Hands; 
  • I Worshipfully Salute Devi Mahalakshmi.

தி ராமாயணம் ||

पूर्वं रामतपोवनादिगमनं 
हत्वा मृगं काञ्चनं
वैदेहीहरणं जटायुमरणं 
सुग्रीवसम्भाषणम्।
वाली निग्रहणं समुद्रतरणं 
लंकापुरी दाहनं
पश्चाद्रावण कुम्भकर्ण हननं
एतद्धि रामायणम्।।

Meaning :
  • Once when Rama was sent to the forest, He chased a deer, meanwhile, Sita was kidnapped, Jatayu was killed. Then there were discussions and planning with Sugreeva for the war, Vaali was killed, the ocean was crossed and Lanka was burnt.
  • Then Lord Rama, slayed Kumbakarna and Ravana and rescued Goddess Sita . This is the story of Ramayana.

கல்யாணாத்புத காத்ராய
காமி தார்த்த ப்ரதாயினே |
ஸ்ரீமத் வேங்கடநாதாய
ஸ்ரீநிவாஸாய மங்கலம் ||

ச்ரிய: காந்தாய கல்யாண
நிதயே நிதயேர்த்தினாம் |
ஸ்ரீ வேங்கட நிவாஸாய
ஸ்ரீநிவாஸாய மங்கலம் ||

कल्याणाध्बुत गात्राय
कामितार्थ प्रधायिने | श्रीमत् वेन्कटनाथाय
श्रीनिवासाय मङ्गलम् ||

श्रिय कान्ताय कल्याण

निधये निधयेर्थिनाम् | श्री वेन्कट निवासाय
श्रीनिवासाय मङ्गलम् ||

Meaning :
  • Lord Srinivasa! You wear the signs of auspiciousness on your wonderful Body to convey that hearing Your glory bestows all wealth and worshipping. You create the light of Knowledge that leads your devotees to your abode. Salutations to you.
  • Mangalam to that abode of Lakshmi, Who lives in Sri Venkateswara, Who is the consort of Lakshmi and who is the treasure to those who ask.


Bhootha nātha Sadhānanda 
Sarva bootha Dayāparā | 
Raksha Raksha Mahabaho
Shastre tubhyam Namo Namaha ||

பூத நாத ஸதானந்த
ஸர்வ பூத தயாபரா |
ரக்ஷ ரக்ஷ மஹாபாஹோ
சாஸ்த்ரே துப்யம் நமோ நம: ||

भूत नाथ सदानन्द 
सर्व भूत दयापरा |
रक्ष रक्ष महाबाहो 
शास्त्रे तुभ्यं नमो नमः ||

Meaning :
  • Salutations to that Sastha, Who is the lord of all beings, perennially ever happy, shows mercy towards all beings. 
  • I pray, Protect me great hero.
